Kurogane no Linebarrels

i was doing some online window shopping to see if there was any cute anime figure worth buying and i came across this very cool looking model kit called "Kurogane no Linebarrels" aka "Linebarrels of Iron", the design on this kit reminded me of this mecha from "Zone of the Enders" (a badass videogame from PS2).

anyways, i continue my online window shopping on the category of kurogane no linebarrels to see if there is anymore of these awesome looking mecha... then these mini trading art figure caught my attention ^^

there is 8 figures (as shown in the picture) and 2 secret figure, which makes it a total of 10 in a set. each figure is full colored and and stands about 2 inches tall. the expected release date on this item: january 30, 2009.

i plan on getting this item, but before i do, i want to get familiar with the anime. so i decided to watch the anime to get a taste of what these characters are like.

the first episode of kurogane no linebarrels.
at first, i thought this anime will have a lame weak cheesy story. like for an example, a weak human normal kid get chosen and became savior of the world. i was wrong, [warning: spoiler ahead] the story was leaning toward that way tho. i mean, the main character suddenly have super strength that can break a brick wall into pieces with one punch and a ridiculous high jumping ability... the explanation of his power? hes dead. it was a mind blowing twist.
